Let me tell ya

This weekend I was brought to tears. Not only myself but Jesse as well. I could mention what it was but let's just say that it made our hearts rejoice. Not only to hear what was played, how it was played, and how innocent it looked. It really made both our days. It's amazing what you find on the internet when looking for information.

It's amazing what will bring you to tears. It could be the death of a loved one. It could be a wedding or the birth of a child. It could be a movie that you watched. It could be those whom you haven't seen in sometime. It could even be music heard or played that brings you to tears. They call it tears of joy or tears of pain and we all have had both.

When I think of how we cry I often picture Jesus crying. You might wonder why Jesus with all his power, wisdom, strength, and might might cry. Recall the account of Lazarus. One day Lazarus gets very sick. At the time, Jesus is far away. So Martha and Mary send a messenger to tell Jesus that their brother, Lazarus, is sick. They do this because they know that Jesus can come and make their brother well. Jesus is not a doctor, but he has power from God so that he can cure every kind of sickness.

Before Jesus goes to see Lazarus, however, Lazarus gets so sick that he dies. But Jesus tells his disciples that Lazarus is sleeping and that He will go to wake him up. The disciples do not understand what Jesus means. So Jesus says plainly: “Lazarus has died.” What does this show about death?— Yes, that it is like a deep sleep. It is a sleep so deep that the person does not even dream.

Jesus is now coming to visit Martha and Mary. Many friends of the family have already arrived. They have come to comfort the sisters because their brother has died. When Martha hears that Jesus is coming, she goes to meet him. Soon Mary also goes out to see Jesus. She is very sad and is crying, and she falls at his feet. Other friends who have followed Mary are also crying.

Jesus asks where they have put Lazarus. At that, the people lead Jesus to the cave where Lazarus has been buried. When Jesus sees all the people crying, he starts to cry too. He knows how painful it is to lose a loved one in death. Even though Jesus knew that he would bring him back the pain was to intense for him. A few things we can take from this account.

Think about it: What happened to Lazarus when he died? Did some part of him—a soul or a spirit—leave his body and go to live somewhere else? Did Lazarus’ soul go to heaven? Was he alive for four days up there with God and the holy angels?—

No, he wasn’t. Remember, Jesus said Lazarus was sleeping. What is it like when you are asleep? When you are in a very deep sleep, you do not know what is going on around you, do you?— And when you wake up, you do not know how long you have been sleeping until you look at a clock.

It is like that with dead people. They do not know anything. They do not feel anything. And they cannot do anything. That is the way it was with Lazarus when he was dead. Death is like a deep sleep where a person doesn’t remember anything. Think about this too: If Lazarus had been in heaven for those four days, would he not have said something about it?— And if he had been in heaven, would Jesus have made him come back to earth from that wonderful place?— Of course not!

But the point is Jesus himself cried because of what happened. He saw what was going on around him. Is it possible that maybe Jesus, the Angels, and of course Jehovah himself are upset at those in the Earth? Would you be?

Right now the world is indeed in pain. Every where you look someone is suffering. Someone is crying. There is a tear falling from a Child's eye. Maybe it's because a parent was just killed or hurt. Maybe it's a parent who just lost a child. There are many reasons that I could give on why but the point is suffering in general is world wide. Suffering in general happens to you, to us, to All in one way or another and if it's not happening now, it will happen sooner or later WHY because this is the world that Satan Created. This is the world that Satan wanted. This is not a world that is controlled by GOD, this is not the kind of world that God wanted.

If you were God would you want the world this way? No! If you were God, would you keep it this way? No! Both answers are correct. If you wouldn't want or keep the world the way it is, then what makes you think that God does. Jesus cried because of all the emotion shown when Lazarus died. Don't you think that your actions cause him pain? What did God say at Proverbs chapter 27:11. It reads this way: " Be wise, my son, and make my heart rejoice, that I may make a reply to him that is taunting me."

Who is taunting God? Of course it's Satan and all those who slap God in the face by claiming to love his laws but not respecting his laws, claiming to love his brother but is killing his brother, by acting holy only on Sundays but in private lives a very different and dis-respectful life. By claiming to love his wife but behind her back is looking at pornography or woman in a sexual manner. By claiming he couldn't serve God on a Sunday because he was sick but in truth he was just to drunk to go from the night before. By claiming to love his laws but yet all garbage in terms of foul language is what you speak in your private life. God wants you to make his heart rejoice not break it.

Jesus = 24 hours a day, Monday to Sunday - Listened to God and loved his laws
The Apostles = 24 hours a day, Monday to Sunday - Listened to God and loved his laws.
You = You can fill this part in for me and tell me where you are?

Again - Proverbs chapter 27:11. It reads this way: " Be wise, my son, and make my heart rejoice, that I may make a reply to him that is taunting me"

Allow God to make a reply to Satan. Till tomorrow..

P.S. Ty for sharing. It was beautiful.
