No man will ever know

I mentioned this before that no one on this Earth will know when the End of the World will happen. It's safe to say that it will happen. My belief is that God will transform the planet into what is was supposed to be when he created the Garden of Eden but many point to the date December 21, 2012.

Why that date? Well there are several reasons. One of course which is the most talked about, the Mayan. Their end date calendar happens to end on Dec 21, 2012. The most interesting thing about them is the fact that their Calendar is more accurate than our own.

Maya people were masters of mathematics and calendars and they were keeping track of time using three separate calendars. For predictions about the beginning and end of the “world” they used “Long Count” calender. And on December 21st 2012, the Long Count will be at the point zero which Maya predicts as the end of time and beginning of the new world. The Mayas were very accurate in their predictions and they predicted invasions on their soil and the World Wars.

Books in Mayan hieroglyphic writing that survived the Spanish conquest. They are made of fig-bark paper folded like an accordion, with covers of jaguar skin. Though most Mayan books were destroyed as pagan by Spanish priests, four are known to have survived: the Dresden Codex, probably dating from the 11th or 12th century, a copy of earlier texts of the 5th – 9th century; the Madrid Codex, dating from the 15th century; the Paris Codex, slightly older than the Madrid Codex; and the Grolier Codex, discovered in 1971 and dated to the 13th century. They deal with astronomical calculations, divination, and ritual.

Is it really the end of the world? The scriptures tell us that God did not create the world for nothing so I doubt it's the end of the planet but even the scriptures tell us about the end of the world. Again not world but the people on it. Jesus mentioned in the book of Matthew about people finding two gates. One which will lead to life and few are finding it and many are on the road leading off into destruction as found in Matthew chapter 7 verse 13 and 14. He also mentions that the road to life is cramped.

This verse thus tells us that many will indeed die but few will survive what is coming but Jesus himself did not say that the end was 2012. Again, no man knows when it will happen but as mentioned Jesus himself mentioned that many will die. What else will happen in 2012?

They mentioned a pole shift. Pole shift theory is almost always discussed in the context of Earth, but other solar system bodies may have experienced axial reorientation . Pole shift theories are not the same as plate tectonics, the well-accepted geological theory that the Earth’s surface consists of solid plates which shift with continental drift.

Neither are pole shift theories are also not the same as Geomagnetic reversal, the periodic reversal of the earth’s magnetic field (effectively switching the north and south magnetic poles). Geomagnetic reversal has more acceptance in the scientific community than pole shift theories.

In 2012 the next polar reversal will take place on earth. This means that the North Pole will be changed into the South Pole. Scientifically this can only be explained by the fact that the earth will start rotating in the opposite direction. What will happen to the Earth when that happens? Nothing but what will happen to the people on the Earth? Our ancestors have lived through a number of polar reversals, and we're still here, so no need to fret!

In the first quarter of 2001, the Sun switched magnetic poles. This occurs every eleven years. Prior to this the Sun's north magnetic pole was at the north rotational pole. Now the Sun's north magnetic pole is at its south pole. Since opposite poles attract, the magnetic poles of the Earth and Sun are now at their most stable.

Just about the time of 2012 Winter Solstice, the Sun's poles will switch back. During this switch there will be a tendency for the Sun's magnetic field to pull the Earth's field with it.

If the Earth's magnetic poles switch, this would put stress on the planet aggravating earthquakes and volcanos, not to mention destruction of the electrical power distribution grid. All in 2012....Interesting isn't it. Well if that wasn't bad enough in 2012 they also say that a planet called Nibiru will be seen March 2009 by telescope and in 2010 by every human on the planet. Why? They say this planet's orbit every 3600 years or so will come in between the Earth and the Sun thus causing issues on the Earth. Because of those issues they expect that 90 percent of the population will die. Narrow is the gate that leads to life.

What are my personal thoughts on 2012. Well, pole reversal has happened before and as mentioned we are still here. God did not create the planet for nothing. To say that mayan 2012 is the end date and others who have predicted an end date have all been wrong.

1980: Leland Jensen leader of a Baha'i Faith group, predicted that a nuclear disaster would happen in 1980. This would be followed by two decades of conflict, ending in the establishment of God's Kingdom on earth.

1981: Arnold Murray of the Shepherd's Chapel taught an anti-Trinitarian belief about God, and Christian Identity. Back in the 1970's, he predicted that the Antichrist would appear before 1981.

Rev. Sun Myung Moon, founder of the Unification Church predicted that the Kingdom of Heaven would be established this year.

1982: Pat Robertson predicted a few years in advance that the world would end in the fall of 1982. The failure of this prophecy did not seem to adversely affect his reputation.

1982: Astronomers John Gribben & Setphen Plagemann predicted the "Jupiter Effect" in 1974. They wrote that when various planets were aligned on the same side of the sun, tidal forces would create solar flares, radio interruptions, rainfall and temperature disturbances and massive earthquakes. The planets did align as seen from earth, as they do regularly. Nothing unusual happened.

1984 to 1999: In 1983, Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, later called Osho, teacher of what has been called the Rajneesh movement, is said to have predicted massive destruction on earth, including natural disasters and man-made catastrophes. Floods larger than any since Noah, extreme earthquakes, very destructive volcano eruptions, nuclear wars etc. were to happen. Tokyo, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Bombay will all disappear. Actually, the predictions were read out by his secretary; their legitimacy is doubtful.

1985: Arnold Murray of the Shepherd's Chapel predicted that the war of Armageddon will start on 1985-JUN 8-9 in "a valley of the Alaskan peninsula."

1986: Moses David of The Children of God faith group predicted that the Battle of Armageddon would take place in 1986. Russia would defeat Israel and the United States. A worldwide Communist dictatorship would be established. In 1993, Christ would return to earth.

1987 to 2000: Lester Sumrall, in his 1987 book "I Predict 2000 AD" predicted that Jerusalem would be the richest city on Earth, that the Common Market would rule Europe, and that there would be a nuclear war involving Russia and perhaps the U.S. Also, he prophesized that the greatest Christian revival in the history of the church would happen: all during the last 13 years of the 20th century. All of the predictions failed.

1988: Hal Lindsey had predicted in his book "The Late, Great Planet Earth" that the Rapture was coming in 1988 - one generation or 40 years after the creation of the state of Israel. This failed prophecy did not appear to damage his reputation. He continues to write books of prophecy which sell very well indeed.
bullet Alfred Schmielewsky, a psychic whose stage name was "super-psychic A.S. Narayana," predicted in 1986 that the world's greatest natural disaster would hit Montreal in 1988. Sadly, his psychic abilities failed him on 1999-APR-11 when he answered the door of his home only to be shot dead by a gunman.

1988-MAY: A 1981 movie titled "The man who saw tomorrow" described some of Nostradamus predictions. Massive earthquakes were predicted for San Francisco and Los Angeles.

1988-OCT-11: Edgar Whisenaut, a NASA scientist, had published the book "88 Reasons why the Rapture will Occur in 1988." It sold over 4 million copies.

About 1990: Peter Ruckman concluded from his analysis of the Bible that the rapture would come within a few years of 1990.

Everyone has predicted and have been wrong.........The end will indeed come but to make a long story just a bit shorter...We have no idea when it will happen.....
