Just think, of those who wouldn't have been here today if we died. Jesse was already born but Gabriel, Daisy, Nevaeh, and Joshua wouldn't have been here today. The truth came into our lives and changed everything. It gave us a chance at life.
I'm sure we wouldn't have been here today. When it comes down to it, we made the choice to live that kind of life. We made the choice to have those kinds of friends. We allowed them to influence us and I'm sure we influenced them.
We put ourselves in that position. We changed. They remained the same. They didn't speak to us anymore because we did change. We improved our lives. We lived by bible standards and kept trying to do what is right in Jehovah's eyes.
As mentioned Friends come and go but brothers and sisters you make in the organization remain. Those that truly care for you and your life. Those that would encourage you and help you and truly love you. Those are our brothers and sisters.
Our dear Elders who help us and care for us and help us maintain in this wicked system of things. We are blessed to have them. Even being in the truth is a choice. Those that are in it now pray daily not just for themselves or their family but for brothers and sisters who cannot meet as openly as we do here in the United States.
We have to ask ourselves, who are our friends. Recall the story some time ago, maybe you will remember it. There was a group of 5 girls. Could have been 6, I don't remember but they went back to a friends house and I think there were two boys as well. They walked in the door and the boys stayed outside guarding the door while the girls who were her friends I guess started to beat this one girl!
Aren't they friends? All of this was captured on youtube. I think it was over a guy or maybe the girl said something to another girl but the point is, they jumped her and were her friends.
Sad isn't it but this is what could happen. Everything from Rape, to drug abuse, to being jumped by several, maybe even killed, and of course the internal pain you feel. Don't have that " it won't happen to me " attitude because in this system it can happen to anybody....................
Just use caution. Be safe and be wise. Listen to Jimmy the Cricket if you recall my illustration. Let your conscience be your guide......Till tomorrow....
P.S. It was pointed out that It's Jiminy the Cricket but to Latino's it's Jimmy. Like Yosemite Sam, we call him Sammy. We leave out Yosemite. The only two we leave intact and don't get wrong is Speedy Gonzales and Slowpoke Rodriguez.
