I have two girls and soon to have three boys. Of course Parents teach and guide their children through life and because most parents have been there and done that, they can guide their children to remain on the right path. It can be hard and they will make mistakes but for the most part if they respect themselves, if they learn to listen to their parents they can avoid most of the issues that plague most children.
Of course Parents also make mistakes so Parents themselves need direction. They need Jehovah. Since he created us, he knows us more than we know ourselves. Take for example what teenagers are doing today.
Let's start with Alcohol. I remember just two weeks ago walking to wallgreens when I saw a kid that couldn't have been more than 14 years old asking a homeless guy to purchase beer. The first thing I thought of was my younger years because I did the exact same thing. I also remembered the path that I took because of Alcohol. I have spent more than one night in jail because of being drunk in public. I have two DUI's on my record for of course drinking and driving. It took 13 years to get my drivers license. My Doctor told me several years ago that my liver was shot. I recalled all that Alcohol has done to me because I abused it. All of this came to mind because of seeing that one kid asking a homeless guy to purchase Alcohol. I know several who lost their virginity because of Alcohol. Was it all worth it? Looking back - no it wasn't. The truth of Alcohol is mentioned in the bible. In the book of Proverbs chapter 23 verse 32 where it states " At its end it bites just like a serpent, and it secretes poison just like a viper "
Drugs is another area that teenagers face. The first time I smoked weed I was 7 years old. It was given to me by my sister. This is yet another area where if I can go back, I would have never touched drugs. Drugs in my family is more or less a curse. Recall that my father died because of drugs. My sister's life changed because of drugs. My life changed because of drugs. I've done most drugs which of course I'm sure caused most of my violent outbreaks, which caused most of my suicide attempts, which caused again jail. My drug use started with those I selected as friends. You won't find anything in the bible that spells out " Say no to Drugs " but there are bible principles. Just like you won't find a scripture that says, don't smoke but there are bible principles. For those who say that weed can't lead you to other drugs are lying because my family is proof that it can.
Fornication is another area that plagues our children today. Teen pregnancy has been called an epidemic. However, the tragic proportions of this problem are best seen when the impact of a pregnancy upon one frightened teenage girl is considered. At the very least, she will experience drastic changes in her life that will deeply impact not only herself but also her family and loved ones. I am reminded of yet another story about my little brothers friend. I can't remember his name but I do remember what happened. He was 14 years old and he got his girlfriend pregnant. She was 12. Because of the family religious upbringing, the two had to get married. At first all was well with the couple. That was of course till both got older. He started to become interested in other woman while she tried to remain a good wife.
He ended up cheating on her getting a few others pregnant in the process. He has no money, no job, can't support his kids. Reminds me of a saying that goes, anyone can be father but it takes a man to raise his kids.
Isn't that the truth? Kids should not be having kids. The scriptures protect us from this when it tells us that fornication is a sin. A gross sin. Jehovah is trying to protect us. Let me tell you again from experience. I was 18 going on 19 when Jesse was born. My wife was 15. Keep in mind that I was 15 and she was 12 when we got together. Anyway, when Jesse was born it was great but I learned real fast that it took money to raise him and it wasn't that I didn't have money, I did but I had very little and the little that I did have went on Alcohol or drugs. I was not ready to be a father. It only changed because I learned the truth about God and his requirements. It only changed because of a knock on the door. I'm 35 now going on 36 soon. Still with my wife. I have 4 kids with one on the way. I take care of all of them. My life changed because of the knock at the door. Will others accept that knock as I have? Who knows but the point is in all of this is that it was hard not easy. Kids should not be having kids. Kids should not fornicate.
Think about this - once you give up being a virgin you cannot take that back. It only happens once in your life and don't you agree that it should be shared with someone you love, someone who you are going to get married to. Of course that is not the popular thing to do today but it is what Jehovah recommends that we do.
Since God’s Word condemns fornication and adultery, his congregation of dedicated people on earth cannot recognize couples living in consensual marriage. Before they could be considered as acceptably dedicated to God and worthy of being baptized in water, it is required that those living together in common-law marriage legalize it by an official marriage ceremony performed by some licensed or authorized representative of the State, before the necessary witnesses. For those living in consensual marriage the same requirement of legality becomes necessary, if they are to come out of their state of fornication or of adultery from the standpoint of God’s Word. Think about Mary and Joesph
Mary was promised in marriage to the Joseph, who was to become the foster father of her son. But during the time of their being affianced or engaged to marry, Joseph had no sexual relations with his betrothed Mary. He did not even have them after he obeyed the angel’s orders and took the pregnant Mary. He waited till she gave birth to Jesus. Because Mary’s pregnancy was miraculous, Joseph at first thought she had violated the honor of their marriage engagement. So he “intended to divorce her secretly,” because he “did not want to make her a public spectacle” through a stoning to death for moral unfaithfulness.
Joseph’s ancestor, the patriarch Jacob, had been betrothed to lovely Rachel for seven years. Yet during all this time in which he was working off his bride price, he had no sexual relations with her. Only at the end of the betrothal time did he ask her father Laban for her, that they might be formally married and he might honorably have relations with her. Thus Jacob and Rachel made an honorable approach to their marriage. Good account found at Gen. 29:20-30.
Today when Jehovah’s dedicated witnesses get engaged to marry, they may have no sexual intercourse with each other before they are formally married before witnesses and properly registered as married. If they do not exercise self-control but excite themselves when alone, unobserved, and yield to passion and have sexual union, they commit fornication. Their being engaged to marry does not excuse the act or lift it out of the realm of immorality, fornication.
So we covered drugs, we covered Alcohol, we covered fornication, tomorrow we will cover another subject more about teenagers.

Happy Monday
Yesterday was a great talk given by one of our brothers. The watchtower of course was great. It's focus was on Jesus and his qualities. His Love, his compassion, his wisdom, and of course his way of teaching. There is many things he taught.
Today we will cover just a few of them. First Jesus's example can help us to cultivate godly devotion. Jesus knew his Father better than anyone else. And so closely did Jesus imitate Jehovah’s ways and qualities that he could say: He that has seen me has seen the Father also.
Through the life and ministry of Jesus, then, we can gain a deeper appreciation for Jehovah’s tender qualities, thus strengthening our personal attachment to our loving Creator. The life and ministry of Jesus Christ reveals much about how godly devotion should be manifested.
A touching example is recorded at John 19:25-27, where we read: “By the torture stake of Jesus, however, there were standing his mother and the sister of his mother; Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. Therefore Jesus, seeing his mother and the disciple whom he loved John standing by, said to his mother: ‘Woman, see! Your son!’ Next he said to the disciple: ‘See! Your mother!’ And from that hour on the disciple took her to his own home.
Imagine that! Just moments before he surrendered his earthly life, Jesus’ love and concern moved him to entrust the care of his mother, Mary, to the beloved apostle John. But why John and not one of Jesus’ own fleshly brothers? Because Jesus was concerned not just with Mary’s physical, material needs but more especially with her spiritual welfare. And the apostle John had proved his faith, whereas there is no indication that Jesus’ fleshly brothers were, as yet, believers. Which of course means that Jesus had brothers and sisters.
The fact that Jesus died for us showed that he loves us. The fact that he left Heaven to die for us shows that he loves us. The fact that he taught us the truth. There is nothing that Jesus didn't help us with.
To illustrate: Imagine trying to explain what kindness is. You might define it with words. But if you can point to someone actually performing a kind deed and say, “That is an example of kindness,” the word “kindness” takes on added meaning and becomes easier to understand. Jehovah has done something similar to help us grasp what he is like. As well as describing himself in words, he has provided us with the living example of his Son. In Jesus, the qualities of God are seen in action. Through the Gospel accounts describing Jesus, Jehovah is, in effect, saying: “That is what I am like.” How does the inspired record describe Jesus when on earth?
The four main attributes of God found beautiful expression in Jesus. He had power over disease, hunger, even death. Yet, unlike selfish men who abuse their power, he never used miraculous power in his own behalf or to hurt others. He loved justice. His heart was filled with righteous indignation at seeing unfair merchants exploiting the people.
He treated the poor and downtrodden with impartiality, helping such ones to “find refreshment” for their souls. There was matchless wisdom in the teachings of Jesus, who was “more than Solomon.” But Jesus never made a showy display of his wisdom. His words reached the hearts of common people, for his teachings were clear, simple, and practical.
Jesus was an outstanding example of love. Throughout his ministry, he displayed love in its many facets, including empathy and compassion. He could not see the suffering of others without feeling pity. Over and over again, that sympathetic regard moved him to action. Although he healed the sick and fed the hungry, Jesus expressed compassion in a far more vital way. He helped others to know, accept, and love the truth about God’s Kingdom, which will bring permanent blessings to mankind.
Is it any wonder that people of all ages and backgrounds felt drawn to this man of tender warmth and deep feelings? However, as we read about and reflect on the living example of Jesus, let us keep ever in mind that in this Son we are seeing a clear reflection of his Father.
Tomorrow we will talk about another area where Jesus discusses those in the opposite sex.

Man
Yesterday's study was great. I don't know if I mentioned this but the faithful slave class lowered the number of meeting days. Before our meeting days were like this
Sunday is our Watchtower Meeting which is a Q&A based on the article for that week where someone conducts the meeting, you have a reader, and you have your those handling the mics. After the first paragraph the question is asked based on the paragraph and those in the crowd express themselves. Before the watchtower is the talk which discusses various spiritual topics.
Then you have our Tuesday School and Service Meeting. First up is the school where you have talk number 1, 2, and 3. This is where those in the crowd are given slips a few weeks before their part on stage to prepare a talk based on what's in the schedule for that week. Talk number 1 is a bible reading where you get to read on stage several scriptures in front of the crowd. Number 2 and Number 3 talk are parts prepared in advance based on various spiritual subjects.
After the School is over, then we go into our service meeting which is local announcements as well as another Q&A based on our Kingdom Ministry. We used to have meetings on Thursday but that was changed to family study which is held at home. Family study can be role playing such as what you will say in field service. Just doing spiritual things as a family which at first I wasn't sure about it because I missed seeing my brothers and sisters but I really enjoy our family study.
Last night was great. Jesse gave his up and coming bible reading which was in the book of Exodus. I think his reading is in a few weeks on stage. Then he gave his next reading which is in April. Then I gave my talk titled We are in Danger which talked about the dangers of being in this system. The Tools Satan uses in order to keep us away from God and how we can remain solid in the faith. Family study was great. Next week for family study, Jesse will give his talk. It's going to be great.

Very Scary Stuff
Accidental Contamination Of Vaccine With Live Avian Flu Virus Virtually Impossible. Czech newspapers are questioning if the shocking discovery of vaccines contaminated with the deadly avian flu virus which were distributed to 18 countries by the American company Baxter were part of a conspiracy to provoke a pandemic.
The claim holds weight because, according to the very laboratory protocols that are routine for vaccine makers, mixing a live virus biological weapon with vaccine material by accident is virtually impossible.
Baxter flu vaccines contaminated with H5N1 - otherwise known as the human form of avian flu, one of the most deadly biological weapons on earth with a 60% kill rate - were received by labs in the Czech Republic, Germany, and Slovenia.
Initially, Baxter attempted to stonewall questions by invoking “trade secrets” and refused to reveal how the vaccines were contaminated with H5N1. After increased pressure they then claimed that pure H5N1 batches were sent by accident. This was seemingly an attempt to quickly change the story and hide the fact that the accidental contamination of a vaccine with a deadly biological agent like avian flu is virtually impossible and the only way it could have happened was by willful gross criminal negligence.
According to a compiled translation from Czech newspaper stories, the media over there is asking tough questions about whether the contamination was part of a deliberate attempt to start a pandemic.
“Was this just a criminal negligence or it was an attempt to provoke pandemia using vaccination against flu to spread the disease - as happened with the anti-B hepatitis vaccination with vaccines containing the HIV virus in US? - and then cash for the vaccines against H5N1 which Baxter develops? How could on Earth a virus as H5N1 come to the ordinary flu vaccines? Don’t they follow even basic precautions in the american pharma companies?”
The fact that Baxter mixed the deadly H5N1 virus with a mix of H3N2 seasonal flu viruses is the smoking gun. The H5N1 virus on its own has killed hundreds of people, but it is less airborne and more restricted in the ease with which it can spread. However, when combined with seasonal flu viruses, which as everyone knows are super-airborne and easily spread, the effect is a potent, super-airbone, super deadly biological weapon.
As the Canadian Press article explains, “While H5N1 doesn’t easily infect people, H3N2 viruses do. If someone exposed to a mixture of the two had been simultaneously infected with both strains, he or she could have served as an incubator for a hybrid virus able to transmit easily to and among people.”
There can be little doubt therefore that this was a deliberate attempt to weaponize the H5N1 virus to its most potent extreme and distribute it via conventional flu vaccines to the population who would then infect others to a devastating degree as the disease went airborne.
The Canadian Press article states, “That mixing process, called reassortment, is one of two ways pandemic viruses are created,” but then claims that there is no evidence that this is what Baxter were doing, despite there being no clear explanation as to why Baxter has samples of the live avian flu virus on its premises in the first place.
However, to reiterate, the key aspect of this story is that it is virtually impossible for live avian flu virus to find its way into a vaccine by “accident”.In 2006 it was revealed that Bayer Corporation had discovered that their injection drug, which was used by hemophiliacs, was contaminated with the HIV virus.
Internal documents prove that after they positively knew that the drug was contaminated, they took it off the U.S. market only to dump it on the European, Asian and Latin American markets, knowingly exposing thousands, most of them children, to the live HIV virus. Government officials in France went to prison for allowing the drug to be distributed. The documents show that the FDA colluded with Bayer to cover-up the scandal and allowed the deadly drug to be distributed globally. No Bayer executives ever faced arrest or prosecution in the United States.
90 percent of us dead by 2012 is it possible?

Yes We Can!
I think the year before the famous saying was "That's Hot". Yes we can or change you can believe in. Don't get me wrong, there was plenty of excitement because of what was going on but really what has changed?
Even if the economy somehow turns around what has changed? The scriptures tell us that man is not meant to direct his own step. Meaning that man without taking Direction from God is going to fail. Notice that everyone around the world has not and cannot solve all of the issue that plague mankind.
Take for example a story that's going on right now. Caylee Marie Anthony was reported missing July 15th. After all her lies the mother is behind bars. Do you think any one on office could have prevented what happened to Caylee? Can they prevent murder? Yes we can. NO YOU CAN'T.
Take for example the homeless. If a shelter cannot take them in, they are left to sleep outside. They are hungry. They are alone. Can this be solved? Yes we can. NO YOU CAN'T. Greed comes into play and while some are helped, most are not. Being homeless myself I understand this life because there were times that we did not eat. My mother and all of us slept in a park. We got help yes but we knew many families who didn't. Mothers who lost their children because it was to cold. Yes we can, NO YOU CAN'T
Take for example Domestic Violence. This isn't done by only men by the way. Woman are crazy to. Right now as I'm typing this, someone is getting punched in the eye. Someone is being murdered. Someone is stepping back into an abusive relationship because of the word I'm sorry I'll never do it again. Can this be stopped? Yes we can. NO IT CAN'T
NO IT CAN'T.
The problems in the world cannot be solved by man. They can't even cure the common cold. They cannot cure most cancers, they cannot stop violence, they cannot stop hunger, they cannot prevent the spread of STD's, they cannot stop homelessness, they cannot stop Drug abuse, they cannot stop Alcohol abuse, and they cannot stop Death. Death, a place we are all heading unless we put our faith in God.
Let's see what Jehovah can do. Can he cure cancer? Yes. Can he stop violence? Yes. Can be stop hunger? Yes. There is nothing that Jehovah cannot handle. Only God can solve all our issues. You might say "But these problems are going on now" True but by listening to God we can have a better life now.
Children will be more respectful. Husbands will be better husbands. Wives will be better wives. Your life overall will be better just by listening to God. He doesn't benefit at all it's us who benefit by listening to him. It's us who life better lives. Trust me....By listening to God we can benefit now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Things that make you Angry
I was thinking about this simply because this morning I was very stressed out. Not because of life outside of work but because of work. Then I took a moment to rethink why I was stressing out. At times a person can get so into what he is doing that when you add to what you were already doing it can stress you out. This is my list so far
1. Order Ac adapters 17 of them under warranty through HP
2. Have to take 2 certification exams today
3. Have 7 laptops to be looked at today
4. Work on data recovery and backup for 3 laptops, one desktop
All of this I have to try and complete today and there are a few items I haven't listed. Thus the stress. I had to take a moment to relax and rethink how I will complete what I already have on my plate but before I do that, I had to stop stressing out. Think of it this way,
For a violinist to make music, the strings on his or her instrument must be taut—but only to a degree. If they are too tight, they will snap. But if the strings are too loose, they will produce no sound at all. The proper amount of tension lies somewhere between the two extremes.
It is similar with stress. Too much can be harmful, But what about no stress at all? While the prospect might sound inviting, the fact is that you need stress—at least to a degree. For example, imagine that while crossing a street, you suddenly notice that a car is speeding toward you. It is stress that enables you to get out of harm’s way—quickly!
But stress is not only useful for emergencies. You also need stress to accomplish everyday tasks. Everybody is under some degree of stress all the time. That is why I am so thankful that I have prayer. I am so thankful that I can turn to Jehovah and let him know how I'm feeling. After speaking to him, I feel better. I feel as if a load was lifted from my shoulders.
So if you feel stressed out, just pray. See how you feel after.

That is why I am so thankful that I have prayer. I am so thankful that I can turn to Jehovah and let him know how I'm feeling. After speaking to him, I feel better. I feel as if a load was lifted from my shoulders.
So if you feel stressed out, just pray. See how you feel after.

America's Most Wanted
I don't know if you checked it out this weekend but each time I see that show or even watch the news it shows me just what kind of heart people have these days. There was a story on there which touched my heart.
Her name is Rosa and she was just 13 years old when her life changed forever. She went from being a young waitress in a small Mexican village to being held captive as a prostitute and a slave.
It all started when a family acquaintance told Rosa that she could make ten times as much money waiting tables in the U.S. as she could in her small village. It sounded like an offer that was too good to be true -- she could make enough money to send some back to her family, and if she got homesick, she could just pick up and come home.
Rosa's parents were skeptical, but she was persistent. Against the wishes of her family and friends, she agreed to make the journey to America in hope of a better life.
Rosa and several young girls were driven across the border, and then continued the rest of the way on foot. They traveled four days and nights through the desert, making their way into Texas, then crossing east toward Florida.
Finally, Rosa and the other girls arrived at their destination, a rundown trailer where they would be put to work. Rosa was told that she would be forced to work as a prostitute. For a young girl like Rosa, this was a nightmare -- but as she soon realized, she had to do what she was told or else.
Rosa was gang-raped and locked up like a prisoner, until she agreed to do what she was told. She lived under 24-hour watch and was forced to engage in sexual relations with up to 30 men a day. When she got pregnant, she was forced to have an abortion, then sent back to work the next day.
Soon, this innocent girl had become a tragic young woman with several sexually transmitted diseases, broken bones that hadn't healed properly, and an addiction to drugs and alcohol.
Again, this girl was on 13 years old, innocent and just wanted to help her family. These Monsters took her and forced her to do these things. People like these mentioned are monsters who do not care for life.
In the time it takes you to read this post to the end of this post, a woman will be raped somewhere in the United States. She will be alone and will be terrorized by an act of violence and degradation by someone she probably knows. She may be beaten. She may resist. She will undoubtedly fear for her life.
Rape is the fastest growing violent crime in the United States, which already has one of the highest rates of rape in the world. According to police reports, 16 rapes are attempted, and 10 women are raped every hour. Add to that the fact that unreported rapes may be ten times higher!
Monsters is what they are. We live in a world where crime, war, drugs, alcohol, sexual slavery, biological weapons, domestic violence, child abuse, nuclear weapons, really I can on and on. All monsters. This is the world we live in folks. This is the kind of world that our children are being raised in.
This won't happen to me, this won't happen to my kids. I'm not sure what is worse? The fact that you think you live on fantasy island or you think that none of this can happen to your children. It can. In the book of Proverbs it states this at chapter 2 verse 11: Thinking ability itself will keep guard over you, discernment itself will safeguard you.
Let me give you an example. Let's say you see of bunch of people hanging on a corner. Wouldn't it be wise to cross the street instead of taking the chance of walking through them. There are many examples but really, at times we ask for trouble. At times we are off in our own world listening to our Ipods instead of paying attention to what is around us. Folks wake up. We live in a world that is controlled by Satan the devil. Anything can happen to us.
We have to protect not only ourselves but protect our children. Even in our own homes we have to make sure all is locked before we go to bed because it's very possible that someone can come in during the night and take our kids. Stories like this is on going and we hear it in the news often.
For children, keep your parents informed. If you are going somewhere, let your parents know. Let them have the address of where you are going to. Let them speak to the other parents and allow them to drop you off. Don't go out at night and try to come home before it gets dark. Try not to take any streets where the lighting is bad and stay on streets that have plenty of people.
I worry about my kids all the time. Be safe...
